A profile needs what a buyer needs to decide: what you do, evidence you have done it, and a rate. Published profiles can be edited afterwards — nothing is frozen once it goes live.
Verification links your profile to things that are checkable: a GitHub account, a domain you control. It exists so that a buyer choosing between two quotes has something more than assertion.
How buyers reach you. They request a quote against a service you list or a project brief they have written. You see the brief, not their other quotes.
Payouts run through Stripe. Connecting an account is what allows a buyer to pay through the platform rather than off it.
